Our services
Locating, tracing and investigation services for legal, finance and insurance professionals — and for individuals who need to find someone.
Skip Tracing
Skip tracing is the process of locating a person whose current address or contact details are unknown. Licensed investigators gather information from lawful sources — public records, registries, credit-header data and open-source intelligence — then verify each lead before reporting a confirmed result.
Debtor Tracing
Debtor tracing locates a debtor who has moved without providing a forwarding address, so recovery or legal action can proceed. We confirm a current residential or business address and verify it before it is reported.
Pricing at a glance
Fixed fees, confirmed in writing before any work begins. Excludes GST.

Why it matters
A database match is not a confirmed location
Anyone can run a name through a database and return the last address on file. That is not a skip trace — it is a starting point. We treat every match as a lead to be tested: cross-checked against independent sources, and confirmed before it is reported. If we cannot verify it, we tell you rather than passing on a guess.
This matters most when the result is going to be relied on — for service of legal documents, recovery action, or a decision with real financial consequences.

Frequently asked questions
What is skip tracing?
Skip tracing is the process of locating a person whose current address or contact details are unknown. A licensed investigator gathers information from lawful sources — public records, registries, credit-header data and open-source intelligence — then verifies each lead before reporting a confirmed result.
Is skip tracing legal in Australia?
Yes. Skip tracing is lawful in Australia when carried out by licensed investigators in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Investigator licensing is regulated state by state — in Victoria, by Victoria Police under the Private Security Act 2004.
How long does a skip trace take?
Most standard traces are completed within 7–10 business days. Company, director and asset searches are typically returned within 24 hours. Complex matters where the subject has deliberately concealed their whereabouts can take longer.
Do you work across all of Australia?
Yes. We operate Australia-wide across metropolitan and regional areas, in every state and territory.
What information do you need to start?
A full name and date of birth is the strongest starting point. Any last known address, phone number, email, employer, vehicle or associate details all improve the result. We can often begin with less — tell us what you have and we will tell you honestly whether it is enough.
What happens if you cannot locate the person?
We tell you. You receive a report setting out every search performed and the information obtained, so the work is transparent and can be relied on if the matter is escalated. We will also advise whether further avenues are worth pursuing.
